the long skirt

I mentioned Harriet Walker's weekly column for Another Mag that delves into the history of a trend. This week Walker tackles the long skirt. I've been a fan of long skirts for a long time - I think it has something to do with hiding my knees. But then I'm also hesitant to wear them because I'm short. Most of the ones I have are summery so I went to my favourite op shop today and bought a tight long black one and also a long sheer one that I wear over a mini. Appologies for the black and white photography again. I keep making the mistake of taking photos at night so they look really dull in colour. Oh and make sure you read Walker's column.
