Admittedly, living in the Northern Hemisphere has made me appreciate dressing appropriately for cold weather. What first started purely as an acceptance that I needed to rug up, I now love everything knitwear has to offer. At its best, knitwear is a piece of artwork, perfectly sculptured to portray a specific concept.
I think it’s great that knitwear no longer considered “old-fashioned” and “practical,” with an increasing number of young designers using it as their primary medium.
One of my favourite collections is by Stine Ladefoged, a recent graduate of The Danish Design School MA program. “Narcissm is Calling,” her final project, was inspired by postmodern influences, particularly postmodern architecture and humans that yearn to be the center of attention.
I'm nearly regretful that i'll be heading home in a few weeks to the warm weather. Nearly, but not quite...

Ooh, lovely. Kind of looks like a cross between my favorite cozy sweater and a swirly cup of frozen yogurt.

These images look so cosy and tactile. Next winter I want a twisted sleeve scarf
