I recently blogged about Berlin based fashion designer Kostas Murkudis' shoe collaboration. For his SS10 collection, Murkudis steps away from the structured silhouettes, and natural palette, that defined his AW09 collection, and instead has created a collection with soft shapes, deep colours and lots of movement. On trend, Murkudis opts for sheer fabric and delicate layering, creating pieces rich with subtle femininity.
I just love how European fashion designers are increasingly looking for new, creative ways to present their lookbook. The photography for Murkudis' lookbook is absolutely stunning, and also perfectly illustrates, with the light and shadows, the fluid silhouettes of each piece.
While I adore Murkudis' SS10 collection, I also love the bold, architectural shapes from some of his earlier work. Below are a few examples from the AW09 line.
