Paris ready-to-wear S/S2010

It is meant to be the event of all fashion events, but i must admit that I didn't expect any innovative designs at Paris' S/S2010. Valentino did pretty dresses, Chanel did traditional Chanel, Chloe played it safe and Emanuel Ungaro, with the help of Lindsay Lohan, did trash fashion. Alexander McQueen shocked onlookers with his futuristic, reptile inspired collection, but at least he was willing to challenge the boundaries.

There was one stand out collection from Celine, who opted for strong, simple cuts. Keeping to a palette of beige, white and black, soft fabrics were ju
xtaposed with leather tees to create classic yet edgy designs.
